Block Grants are not normal grants. These are when the federal government gives money to a state, so that the state can distribute the funds in the most efficient manner. Typically focuses on a single industry, after a natural disaster.
A block grant would not be appropriate for an individual producer. However, if a potential client represents a statewide industry that has suffered a disaster, we might be able to help lobby to have a block grant put in place.
